Hi, I'm Ruth Johnson living in Funtley, Fareham. I have three children, my daughter a graphic designer in Bristol my older son at uni in Brighton and my youngest son here at home.
We have always had dogs in the family so have many years of experience with different breeds and all their personalities. I have been home boarding since January 2020.
We have our own beautiful golden retriever girl.
We have always looked after friends and family’s dogs on a regular basis which is super rewarding and lots of fun! We are so lucky to have such beautiful countryside behind our home; the walks are glorious and perfect for the dogs! After working for years as a dental practice manager I decided to set up Happy at Woof's to do something I love.
At Happy at Woof's your dogs will be lovingly looked after, receiving the best possible care, love and fun in our family home. The garden is fully secure.
We offer a home from home boarding service for dogs (sorry not school holidays), where they are part of the family.
We have full insurance, are DBS/CRB checked, are Canine First Aiders and are fully licenced with Fareham Borough Council, licence no BOES/172/1. Our council rating is 5 star.
We like to arrange an initial meeting to discuss your dog's individual requirements and to ensure that our setting (with the dogs we'll be looking after), fits your and your pet’s needs. This meeting is free of charge and is non-obligatory.
